Brian began his FBLA journey as a freshman, when the club had just 33 year members. Being the vice president these past 2 years, Brian has seen the tremendous growth of Irvington FBLA in membership, closeness, and competitive success. Having been to 3 different national conferences, Brian has had the opportunity to explore the U.S., meeting a plethora of future business leaders from all around. As the co-president this year, he is looking to leave behind a legacy of leadership and competitive excellence in his final year.

Arya Krishnan, one of Irvington’s Directors of Competitions (DoC), started his FBLA journey only last year in the tenth grade. Arya first heard of FBLA in ninth grade during maze day but made the horrible decision to “take it easy” and not partake in the FBLA chapter. After realizing the big mistake he had made, he decided to join the Irvington FBLA family and after competing and Bay Section, States, and Nationals, Arya knew that he needed to give back to the FBLA family. Through all the ups and downs of the multiple conferences he attended, Arya amassed a multitude of skills that he, with his partner Micheal Zhu, would like to teach the new participants of FBLA. Arya hopes to ensure that every new member is ready to take home a trophy this year!
